RACHEL ANDERSON SNIDER
Partner & Co-Founder

As a leading Atlanta family law attorney, Rachel focuses on the positive resolution of complex, high- income and large asset divorces.  Rachel provides a hands-on approach to guide her clients through the legal, personal and emotional process that occurs in a divorce.  Rachel coordinates a team of professionals specific to each individual case.  She employs the best experts to support her clients from forensic accountants, tax professionals, private investigators, mental health professionals, estate planners, financial planners, educational consultants, real estate professionals, appraisers, and a myriad of other professionals that her clients may need. Rachel's goal is to manage all aspects of a client's case to allow the client to move forward with their personal and professional life. Rachel is a skilled trial litigator with 33 years of trial experience. Georgia is one of only 2 states which currently allow jury trials in divorce cases.  Rachel is a trained mediator and serves as a late case evaluator to the Fulton County Superior Court Judges through the American Academy of Family Law Lawyers.  Rachel is one of only Fellows in the American Academy of Family Law lawyers in Georgia. Rachel strives to provide clients with the information and resources they need at the highest level possible to evaluate their financial and personal goals in determining the outcome of their case and when children are involved, ensuring their best interests are met. Rachel is ready to represent her clients through a jury trial, judge presiding trial whether in person or through zoom, late case evaluation, mediation to settlement or by arbitration.  Rachel serves as a court appointed late case evaluator in Fulton County providing her expertise to non-client litigants as the potential last step before trial.

Rachel began her law career practicing in creditor's rights and commercial litigation. Rachel learned that she really valued the direct client contact, personal stories and situations and began her family law practice.  After 33 years, Rachel knows that fighting for her clients and helping her clients prepare for the next steps in their lives is the most important goal in any divorce or family law situation.

Born in New Orleans, Rachel spent her formative years in Manila, Philippines and Vestavia Hills, Alabama.  Rachel has lived in Atlanta since 1979 and has called Atlanta home since college.  Her sons attended Christ the King, St. Pius and Marist. Both sons attended The University of Alabama and Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Her personal interests and family life enrich her professional perspective, allowing her to connect with clients on a deeper level.

Rachel lives on the golf course in Ansley Park with her husband, Gary.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling to Europe, golf, pickleball and mahjong and cheering for her alma mater, the Crimson Tide. In addition to her partner, Drew, Rachel's son Riley is a lawyer and  partner with Morgan and Morgan in Atlanta specializing in trucking litigation.
